Holiday Boutique December 2014

ALLIED ARTS GUILD ...... decorated for the holidays and special event, a Holiday Market
Gerry N & Luisa P were selling BEAR GRAMS & our award-winning COOKBOOK
"Ready to buy?" Marty J and Sarah B, PAA co-president, want to know...

PAA was there with those wonderful items - all handcrafted and tempting!!
There was something for everyone,
child or grown-up.
Hats, scarfs, baby blankets, dish towels, AMERICAN GIRL clothes,
shopping bags, and lots more.
Dedicated crew: Sarah B, Jane B, Marty J, and Sharon B

Did I mention bears?

Carolyn K also was there to help on this lovely Saturday
They came in all colors!
.....and there were hats with pig-tails!!

Nancy B is modelling a red hat with matching scarf while Gerry N is admiring.....

Came to look - and buy! Stephanie Beach, PAA VP, and husband chatting with Gerry N

This Fountain in the Garden of Abundance was donated by the
family of Bonnie Evans, seen here, who came to look....
and ended up buying several of our award-winning cookbooks.

The cookbook's cover shows the garden and its fountain which
was painted by Carolyn Hofstetter, a PAA member since 1961.
It was by chance that Carolyn was at the event, and delighted
Bonnie by autographing her bought treasures!
Gifts for several family members. How very appropriate.
Bonnie bought more than a box of books. Thank you so very much!

The event is closing, time to pack up unsold items.
It was a long but wonderful day. Nancy, Luisa, Sharon and Jane are ready to go home and relax.
Until we meet again at the January Membership Meeting!   Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!

After a lovely affair it is no problem giving a helping hand.

Thanks to all who set-up, brought tasty finger foods, and took-down.

We missed so many members who for various reasons were not able to attend this great event.
Hope to see some of you at the Nov. meeting.
